Overview
A partner organization is seeking an Advogado(a) – Direito Regulatório e Administrativo based in Brazil. This role is suited for a legal professional experienced in complex regulatory and administrative environments, focusing on strategic legal matters with direct business impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage administrative and judicial proceedings related to Regulatory and Administrative Law.
- Draft petitions, defenses, appeals, legal opinions, reports, and other procedural documents of medium to high complexity.
- Represent clients before public authorities, regulatory agencies, and administrative entities, including conducting meetings, diligences, and procedural follow-ups.
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with clients’ objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in hearings, oral arguments, and strategic meetings as needed.
- Maintain and update internal case management systems and client legal platforms to ensure accurate reporting and process control.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, presentations, and strategic legal guidance.
- Prepare operational and management reports to support decision-making and monitor legal indicators and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law with active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) registration.
- Solid professional experience in Administrative Law and/or Regulatory Law.
- Proven experience managing both administrative and judicial proceedings.
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and administrative procedures.
- Experience interacting with public bodies, regulatory agencies, and governmental entities.
- Familiarity with federal regulations, administrative frameworks, and legal compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with legal case management systems and digital platforms.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands while maintaining high-quality deliverables and meeting strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure, Administrative Law, or Regulatory Law.
- Experience in regulated sectors.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
