Overview

This role is a full-time, remote contract engagement supporting a global, publicly traded client. The engagement is for 12 months, with the potential to extend up to 18 months.

We are seeking an Antitrust/Competition Litigation Attorney with at least 10 years of experience handling complex antitrust/competition litigation and related government investigations. Experience in both litigation and regulatory investigations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex antitrust/competition litigation and investigation workstreams while collaborating closely with the in-house legal team
  • Handle discovery management, including managing the discovery process for complex matters
  • Conduct and support depositions
  • Manage subpoenas and related investigative requests
  • Coordinate with leading outside counsel as needed
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional matters
  • Support matters involving areas such as monopolization, tying, and price-fixing
  • Work on antitrust class actions
  • Support investigations involving the DOJ, FTC, or other competition authorities

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of substantial experience handling complex antitrust/competition litigation and related government investigations
  • Ability to independently manage complex litigation and investigation workstreams while collaborating closely with the in-house legal team
  • Demonstrated relevant capabilities, including discovery management, depositions, subpoenas, coordination with leading outside counsel, and management of multi-jurisdictional matters
  • Outstanding references
  • JD or equivalent qualifying law degree
  • Admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling both litigation and regulatory investigations
  • Prior experience in the antitrust litigation and investigations practice at an Am Law 200 law firm and/or a Fortune 100 publicly-traded company
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery and AI-assisted investigation tools

  • Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension up to 18 months)
  • Location: Remote (preference for candidates located in Redmond, WA)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay range: USD $170,000 to $200,000 (full-time basis)
  • Contract pay is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
