Overview
An established civil litigation law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation is seeking a dedicated Appellate and Litigation Support Attorney. The firm represents major insurance companies, individuals, and public and private business organizations. Responsibilities
- Provide litigation and trial support in insurance defense matters in collaboration with trial counsel.
- Manage all aspects of appeals.
- Attend trials as appellate counsel and provide trial support when necessary.
- Conduct legal research and assist with hearing preparation.
- Advise clients on legal matters and negotiate on their behalf.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date client files.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance-related law, including first and third party actions, insurance coverage and bad faith, personal injury, auto liability, premises liability, property damage, and/or products liability.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must meet billing goal expectations.
