Assistant Legal Counsel -Miami

Overview

A global music solutions company with a presence in over 35 countries and more than 570 staff members is seeking an Assistant Legal Counsel to join their legal team. The organization operates in distribution, label solutions, content production, publishing, and marketing, supporting artists and creators worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial and marketing teams across various territories in drafting, processing, and signing commercial contracts
• Draft and negotiate new business deals with clients and their attorneys
• Assist in designing and implementing best practices for managing legal documents and conducting risk analysis
• Review contract redlines and suggested adjustments to ensure alignment with company policy and business model

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in the legal field
• Background in intellectual property, preferably in technology, music, and/or entertainment law
• Ability to negotiate business deals with senior attorneys
• Proficiency in a language other than English is highly valued (Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Russian)
