Overview

Remote work from home.

This Associate Attorney role supports the firm’s West Coast foreclosure department. The position primarily manages judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception through completion
  • Prepare case analysis and advise clients on strategies
  • Draft court pleadings and defend motions
  • Handle discovery
  • Attend court hearings (telephonic and in person)
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Five to Ten years of experience practicing law, preferably litigation, real estate, or mortgage law
  • Admission to practice law in the states of Oregon and/or Washington
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in software tools including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically related to foreclosure litigation and/or mortgage/real estate matters is preferred
