Overview
This full-time Associate Attorney position involves managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution. The role requires providing strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions. Candidates must demonstrate strong research, drafting, and litigation skills, along with the ability to collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced environment. The position includes a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Responsibilities
- Review files and conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action
- Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
- Represent clients regularly in court, arbitrations, and depositions
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses
- Prepare for and attend trials
- Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide strategic and practical legal advice
- Manage deadlines and assignments with a high level of ownership and independence
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of employment (required); additional bar admissions are a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant practice group
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional demeanor with strong client-relations and communication skills
- Highly organized and responsive, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000–$120,000 annually
