Overview

This role is a Contract Specialist position (Associate L1 or Analyst L2) supporting contract drafting, review, and negotiation activities.

  • Location: US (Remote)
  • Experience Level: 2–3 years of contract drafting/review/negotiation experience

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review a wide range of agreements, including NDAs, Statements of Work, Amendments, and Master Service Agreements
  • Negotiate client-preferred terms in alignment with established playbooks and guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with the team while managing individual workload
  • Perform Quality Checks (QCs) on drafted/reviewed contracts based on project instructions and client requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure timelines are met
  • Deliver work with consistent quality, meeting or exceeding SLAs
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze complex contractual language, identify risks, and propose mitigations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues
  • Detail-oriented, target-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with contract redlining tools/platforms
  • Logical thinker with sound decision-making and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to adapt to process changes with a quick learning curve
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with ISO and organizational standards

Education & Experience

  • Attorney, JD-qualified, or Paralegal with 2+ years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation
