Overview

The organization is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Kentucky.

This role provides comprehensive legal representation across firm practice areas, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and related matters. The position involves working collaboratively with experienced attorneys and support staff under the guidance of a managing attorney.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Attend court hearings in person and virtually.
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Kentucky (required)
  • 2–5+ years (all qualified applicants considered)
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
  • Location: Remote
  • Local court-related travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-state licensure (Indiana/Ohio preferred)
  • Licensure to practice in Bankruptcy court
  • Litigation, bankruptcy, or collections experience

  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling)
  • Ability to multi-task
