Overview
A consumer protection law firm specializing in representing clients who have been harassed or deceived by creditors and debt collectors is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join their practice in Nevada. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload of clients in Nevada.
- Communicate with clients regarding their legal matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and review and draft agreements.
- Negotiate and communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
- Conduct legal research on simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.
- Attend court appearances as required; this position is primarily remote but may involve travel.
Requirements
- Admission to practice law in Nevada is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant law firm experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with senior management and colleagues at all levels.
- Proficient legal research skills; experience with LexisNexis is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of $90,000, commensurate with expertise and experience.

Location
- This is a remote position based in Nevada.
- Communication with the main office (located in New York) will be conducted via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
