Overview
This role is for a Remote Associate Attorney - Nevada Bar with a law firm focused on helping individuals facing financial and consumer-related challenges.
- Salary: $115,000
- Work setup: Fully remote
- Work schedule: Pacific Time (PST) hours
- Eligible states: Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, or Idaho
- Bar admission: Active Nevada Bar license required
Responsibilities
- Manage consumer advocacy and civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Communicate directly with clients and keep them informed throughout their cases
- Negotiate with opposing counsel and work toward favorable resolutions
- Attend court appearances and hearings in Nevada as needed
Requirements
- Active Nevada Bar license in good standing
- 1+ years of attorney experience (attorneys with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply)
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining a schedule aligned with Pacific Time
