Associate Attorney

Overview

This Associate Attorney role is for a 2–5 year graduate from an accredited law school. The position involves actively assisting partners and working closely with clients across all phases of state and federal insurance coverage practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with insurance coverage practice in both state and federal matters
• Perform policy analysis
• Conduct legal research
• Draft and prepare correspondence
• Review and analyze case files
• Draft memorandums and reports
• Participate in strategy discussions
• Assist with ADR and trial

Requirements

• Full-time position with remote work
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• California (and/or Nevada, Colorado, Arizona) Bar Admission
• Excellent research, writing, analysis, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance experience is a plus (not required)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Billing basis: based upon 1650 billable hours annually
• Automatic bonuses: available at each additional 50 hour increment
• Bonuses at the 1800 annual billable hours threshold: both automatic and discretionary bonuses are available
