Overview
A growing national litigation firm specializing in insurance defense is seeking motivated attorneys to join their team. The firm is known for innovative trial advocacy and a commitment to achieving strong results in complex insurance defense cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop effective case strategies that focus on results
- Manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials independently
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff across experience levels
- Maintain professional communication with clients
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the State of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of insurance defense experience
- 1 to 8 years of litigation experience including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently from discovery through trial
- Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
- Annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional bonuses of $7,500 for each higher tier
- Comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, and life insurance with average employer contributions between $700 and $1,700 annually
- 401(k) plan with 100% match on the first 3% contributed and 50% match on the next 4-5%
