Overview
An associate attorney position is available with the legal team supporting creditors’ rights and litigation matters. This role provides comprehensive legal representation across practice areas including foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and related proceedings. Work is remote with court-related travel as needed.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Attorney (Litigation), you will:
- Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
- Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with client requirements, laws, and court rules.
- Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually.
- Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
- Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.
Requirements
- Licensed in Texas (required).
- 3+ years of litigation experience preferred (all qualified applicants will be considered).
- Experience in a role focused on litigation.
- Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-state licensure.
- Bankruptcy or collections experience.
- Federal licensure.
