Overview
An established national litigation firm specializing in insurance defense is seeking an Associate Attorney with an active bar license in the State of Arizona. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful trial work, develop case strategies, and contribute to a high-performing legal team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compelling case strategies that effectively address complex legal issues
- Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff across experience levels
- Maintain professional and consistent communication with clients
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the State of Arizona
- 1 to 8 years of litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial
- Prior insurance defense experience preferred
- Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $90,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional bonuses of $7,500 for each subsequent tier
