Overview
Remote work from home. This role is for an Associate Attorney to work in the firm’s West Coast foreclosure department.
This attorney will primarily manage judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception to completion
- Prepare analysis of case matters and advise clients regarding strategies
- Draft court pleadings and defend motions
- Handle discovery
- Attend court hearings (telephonic and in person)
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate, or mortgage law
- Admission to practice law in the states of Oregon and/or Washington.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload
