Overview
An established, multi-state real estate and creditors’ rights law firm is seeking a qualified Associate Attorney to support its Illinois practice. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Proactively utilize the firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
- Provide strong advocacy built on civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation.
- Handle court appearances and some attendant travel as required.
- Deliver superior client care and maintain proactive communication.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
Requirements
- Member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice.
- Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and creditors’ rights practice generally.
- Commitment to superior client support and sound judgment in all matters.
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and mentoring.
