Overview

Position: Attorney (Contract)

Location: Remote

This role involves providing expert legal guidance to support a variety of projects within a remote work environment. The attorney will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex legal challenges and contribute to the organization's overall success.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to protect organizational interests.
• Conduct legal research and stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Advise on dispute resolution and litigation as needed.
• Work closely with external counsel and internal teams to ensure efficient legal processes.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal policies aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to a bar association in good standing.
• Proven experience as an attorney with expertise in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex legal issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects.
• High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technology-driven or fast-growing companies.
• Knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, or employment law.
• Familiarity with international legal frameworks or cross-border transactions.
