Overview
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with over 6 years of experience to join its Financial Services practice. The role involves defending consumer financial services clients in complex litigation matters. The position offers the flexibility to work fully remotely within California or from any of the firm's California offices as needed.
Responsibilities
- Represent financial services clients in a variety of litigation matters, including mortgage-related disputes
- Manage cases through all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and contribute to case strategy development
Requirements
- Active California bar license in good standing (admission to the Texas bar is a plus)
- Minimum of 6 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with exposure to mortgage or financial services defense
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $180,000 – $220,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market factors
