Overview

A law firm is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in civil litigation matters, particularly defense work. This role involves collaborating with a team of knowledgeable attorneys in a supportive, business-casual environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle civil litigation cases with a focus on defense work
  • Interact directly with clients
  • Conduct depositions
  • Make court appearances
  • Develop skills in business development

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri (required)
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas (preferred)
  • Strong work ethic and proven case management skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • Exceptional research and writing skills
  • Strong marketing and client development skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Trial experience (preferred)
