Attorney, Document Understanding Specialist
Overview
This role involves collaborating on projects that train and enhance AI systems focused on legal document analysis. The position offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to work remotely while contributing legal expertise to the development of next-generation AI models.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated contract reviews and legal document analyses
- Assess the quality of AI legal reasoning and comprehension of agreements, briefs, regulatory filings, and other legal documents
- Identify critical omissions, misinterpretations of legal standards, and reasoning flaws in AI outputs
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top law school
- Recent or current practice as an attorney with hands-on experience in contract review, due diligence, or litigation support at a reputable firm
- Demonstrated expertise in Labor and Employment Law
- Proven ability to provide sound legal advice and conduct thorough legal research
- Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate effectively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with technology or AI-related legal frameworks is a plus
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly rate: $85–$100
- Commitment: 30+ hours per week, weekdays
- Location: Remote
