Overview
This role offers an opportunity for lawyers to apply their skills beyond traditional legal practice by working in a fast-growing technology startup focused on connecting individuals in crisis with legal and government assistance. Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks to match clients with appropriate law firms based on case specifics, geography, and preferences, collaborating with data science teams to implement solutions.
- Conduct interviews with partner law firms to prioritize product features and collaborate with design and product teams to create roadmaps and wireframes.
- Partner with marketing to design and execute projects for collecting client testimonials, including client selection, drafting pitches, and conducting interviews.
- Manage and coordinate clients and cases, perform legal analysis, and advocate informed perspectives.
- Engage in user research, product development, and venture finance activities as part of a cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Experience at a top law firm or non-profit with a desire to transition away from traditional legal practice.
- Resourceful team player comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, eager to learn and take initiative.
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact and helping people.
- Degree from a top law school with strong academic performance.
- Admission to the bar in any state.
Preferred Qualifications
- Several years of meaningful work experience prior to law school, especially in client service or business roles.
- Experience working in startups or other agile, fast-paced environments.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, determined by experience and internal equity.

Location
This is a fully remote position with flexibility to work from anywhere. Occasional travel to Los Angeles is expected, typically quarterly and for offsite meetings, with all travel expenses covered by the organization.
