Overview
A legal services organization is seeking experienced Labour & Employment Lawyers to support Fortune 500 clients with a range of employment law matters.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice on employment law compliance, workplace policies, hiring, terminations, and employee relations across multiple Canadian provinces.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, confidentiality and non-competition clauses, and contractor arrangements.
- Support workplace investigations, accommodations, performance management, and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and compliant practices.
- Assist with workplace planning, restructurings, and risk mitigation related to employment standards and labour relations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of employment law experience in Canada, preferably gained in-house or at a national law firm advising corporate clients on workplace and HR matters.
- Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $114,000 to $250,000 per year.
- Compensation for non-attorney roles ranges from $64,000 to $201,000 per year.
- Compensation decisions are based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.

- This role involves advising on employment law matters across multiple provinces in Canada.
