Overview

This role involves serving as a Case Administrator dedicated to supporting a client’s legal department. The position supports a team of project managers to provide assistance across multiple litigation and legal matters. Interaction with in-house counsel, internal business groups, outside counsel, and eDiscovery vendors is required to organize cases and ensure deadlines are met. The role requires a collaborative, process-oriented approach with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of project managers within the PMO
  • Maintain organization and management of legal cases
  • Manage case closure processes
  • Utilize both off-the-shelf and proprietary data collection, analysis, and reporting tools
  • Support team members through training and education to promote best practices and high-quality service

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience working with legal departments or in litigation, including project management
  • Knowledge of the litigation lifecycle
  • Strong technical aptitude and interest in learning various tools related to eDiscovery, knowledge management, and vendor engagement
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience managing and prioritizing deliverables across cross-functional teams
  • Sound business judgment with the ability to handle multiple matters and conflicting deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues effectively
  • Ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and take ownership of projects while balancing time, quality, cost, and risk
  • Strong teamwork skills, including cultivating relationships and effective communication with teammates and cross-functional partners
  • Customer service oriented and responsive
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information
