Chief Counsel - Brand Sourcing & Manufacturer Relationships (REMOTE)

Overview

A partner organization is seeking a Chief Counsel specializing in Brand Sourcing and Manufacturer Relationships to work remotely. This role focuses on providing legal and regulatory support for key agreements related to drug sourcing and distribution. The position requires an experienced healthcare transactional lawyer to manage compliance, mitigate risks, and foster strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. The role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to facilitate contract negotiations and develop strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent legal support for drafting, negotiating, and strategizing complex and sensitive contracts.
• Coordinate legal risk tolerances and contracting standards for key distribution agreements.
• Advise senior leadership and account directors on legal risk mitigation and strategic matters.
• Collaborate with internal legal and business teams across various functions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 13 years of experience in corporate law.
• Preferred experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biopharma, or Biotechnology sectors.
• Strong skills in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
• Comfortable providing healthcare regulatory advice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in healthcare transactions.
