Chief Counsel - Brand Sourcing & Manufacturer Relationships - REMOTE

Overview

This remote position is for a Chief Counsel specializing in Brand Sourcing and Manufacturer Relationships within the drug sourcing and distribution sector. The role involves leading legal strategies related to complex agreements, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks associated with specialty and brand pharmaceutical manufacturers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop robust agreements that support healthcare access and align legal compliance with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent legal support for drafting, negotiating, and strategizing complex distribution agreements.
• Coordinate legal risk tolerances and contracting standards across key distribution agreements.
• Advise senior leadership and account directors on legal risk mitigation and relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal legal and business teams on matters related to brand and specialty manufacturers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 13 years of corporate law experience.
• Experience in a large private law firm combined with in-house legal experience is preferred.
• Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable providing healthcare regulatory advice.
• Experience working within the pharmaceutical manufacturer sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and work effectively with large cross-functional teams.
