Overview
The organization is seeking Senior-level attorneys to join its Aviation and Aerospace practice.
Location: California — Hybrid | Remote
This role involves handling sophisticated aviation and aerospace disputes for clients including airlines, manufacturers, airports, lessors, and insurers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse and challenging caseload with significant responsibilities from the outset
- Conduct civil defense litigation in state and federal courts, including preparing cases for trial
- Perform key litigation work such as research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and depositions
- Collaborate with a team while also working independently as needed
- Participate in trial-related activities as applicable; trial skills and experience are an added benefit
Requirements
- Must be admitted to the California bar in good standing
- Experience in civil defense litigation in state and federal courts, with the ability to prepare cases for trial
- Excellent research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Ability to be organized and self-motivated, handling files with minimal supervision
- Some travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aviation law
- Experience in product liability and/or premises liability
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: Estimated $140,000 to $220,000. The estimated salary range displayed is specifically for applicants who will perform work in California if selected for the role and is not applicable to other locations.
