Overview
This remote position seeks experienced attorneys to support legal teams in the pharmaceutical and health systems sectors. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial and research-related agreements, with a focus on global transactions, clinical research organizations (CROs), and research & development (R&D) activities. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including:
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs)
- Consulting Agreements
- Provide legal support for global and cross-border transactions
- Advise on engagements with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs)
- Manage R&D-related legal matters, such as:
- Pre-clinical research agreements
- Sponsored research agreements (e.g., industry–academic collaborations)
- Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs)
- Support licensing and collaboration agreements within the life sciences field
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including business development and licensing teams, on strategic and operational initiatives
- Assist in structuring and negotiating research collaborations and related transactions
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in good standing
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or health system sectors (preferably a combination)
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Global transactional experience
- Working with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs)
- R&D legal work, including pre-clinical and sponsored research
- Familiarity with intellectual property transactions in life sciences
- Experience supporting licensing, collaboration, and research agreements
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year
- Estimated total compensation for non-attorney roles ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 per year
- Compensation is determined by factors including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs
