Overview
A global life sciences organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney to provide sales-side legal support for its manufacturing services business. The role involves negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements with counterparties ranging from major pharmaceutical companies to emerging biotech organizations.
CDMO experience is ideal, including experience working directly for a CDMO or negotiating with CDMOs from the other side. Candidates with transferable experience in therapeutics, pre-clinical or clinical trials, CROs, or similar life sciences environments may also be a strong fit.
This assignment is practical, solutions-oriented, and requires strong judgment and the ability to effectively partner with business stakeholders to move commercial transactions forward.

- Handle negotiations with counterparties across pharma and emerging biotech organizations
Requirements
- Experienced Commercial Attorney
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements
- CDMO experience is ideal (either directly for a CDMO or negotiating with CDMOs from the other side)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in therapeutics, pre-clinical or clinical trials, CROs, or similar life sciences environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate (estimated):
- $78 – $105 per hour for candidates located in NE/NW/West Coast regions
- $75 – $101 per hour for candidates located in SE/MW/SW regions
- Final compensation will be based on qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
