Overview
A leading global industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney to provide interim legal support for its aerospace business. This role involves negotiating complex commercial agreements with major aerospace customers and advising business and engineering teams on practical legal solutions. The attorney will also assist with government contracting matters and address manufacturing-related legal issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate sophisticated commercial contracts with aerospace customers
- Provide legal advice to business and engineering teams on operational and manufacturing issues
- Support government contracting compliance and related legal matters
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to solve complex challenges
Requirements
- Significant experience in the aerospace industry
- Strong commercial contracting skills
- Familiarity with government contracts
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Engagement Details
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 2 months with potential extension
- Work schedule: Remote, 20-30 hours per week initially, with potential increase to 30-40 hours
Compensation
- Hourly rate for candidates located in NE/NW/West Coast regions: $78 – $105
- Hourly rate for candidates located in SE/MW/SW regions: $75 – $101
- Final compensation based on qualifications, experience, client needs, and project requirements
