Overview

This role supports a customer contracting function for a technology organization. The selected attorney will provide critical coverage across the customer contract lifecycle, taking significant ownership from intake through execution. The ideal candidate has deep, recent SaaS/technology commercial experience and has represented the technology provider/seller in customer transactions.

The assignment starts December 1, 2026. It is at least 4 months, with potential to extend to approximately 7 months.

  • Work model: Remote (West Coast preferred)
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week baseline; during month-end periods 50+ hours, extended days, and occasional weekend coverage may be required to support deal closings.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer contract lifecycle, including:
    • Intake
    • Drafting and redlining
    • Direct customer negotiations
    • Participation in live negotiation calls
    • Managing agreements through execution
  • Handle standard and strategic SaaS/technology customer deals independently.
  • Determine when to escalate the largest or most complex matters.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and work closely with a fast-paced sales organization.
  • Support a meaningful month-end cycle with periods of increased urgency.

Requirements

  • Deep, recent SaaS/technology commercial contracting experience.
  • Experience representing the technology provider/seller in customer transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own SaaS customer agreements from start to finish.
  • Comfort with periods of significant deal activity and urgency, including potential extended hours during month-end.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: Expected between $110 and $113.
  • The provided range is an estimate; compensation will be based on qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
