Overview

A publicly traded company in the natural resources and manufacturing sector is seeking a senior corporate attorney to support its legal team. This role involves working closely with senior leadership on a variety of transactional and project-based legal matters, including a major infrastructure-style project with a multi-party commercial arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support for complex commercial agreements
  • Manage internal and counterparty documentation
  • Coordinate across multiple stakeholders
  • Handle project-based deal work related to infrastructure and commercial transactions

Requirements

  • Strong experience with commercial agreements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, complex environments
  • Availability to start immediately
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite integration
  • Located in Eastern or Central Time zones preferred
  • Availability for 20–40 hours per week, with potential for consistent 40 hours
  • This assignment should be the attorney's sole project during the engagement

Compensation & Duration

  • Hourly rate between $110 and $115, based on qualifications and experience
  • Project duration of 3 to 6 months

Location

  • Remote work preferred with occasional travel
  • Candidates located in Eastern or Central Time zones preferred
