Overview
A remote opportunity is available for a Commercial Contracts Attorney, preferably located in California, to provide legal support on a broad range of commercial contracting matters. This role offers the chance to develop expertise in the life sciences industry by working alongside experienced attorneys specializing in life sciences contracting, including clinical trials and research and development.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Advise clients on commercial contracting issues.
- Collaborate with clients and attorneys on life sciences contracting matters, including clinical trials and R&D.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships in a remote, client-facing environment.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture while expanding expertise in the life sciences sector.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong background in commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
- Active admission to the California Bar is preferred.
- Candidates located in California are strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to life sciences contracting, including clinical trials and research and development.
- Experience in the life sciences industry is not required; candidates with strong commercial contracts experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year.
- Compensation decisions consider experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
