Overview
The organization is seeking Commercial Contract Lawyers to support clients across various sectors including retail, technology, consumer goods, and professional services.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, supply agreements, IT agreements, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Advise on and negotiate terms and conditions with external vendors, customers, and suppliers.
- Identify and assess legal and business risks related to commercial contracts and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management; in-house experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
- Experience across multiple industries is considered an asset.
- Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
