Overview

A legal services organization is seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to support a diverse range of clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts including vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual issues, identifying risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal exposure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, procurement, and finance to align contract terms with business objectives, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve contract-related disputes efficiently.

Requirements

  • 2 to 10 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in-house legal experience, either directly or as a secondee.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Financial Services, or Technology sectors is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Open to part-time or full-time employment.
  • Strong academic credentials and relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent commercial understanding and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to work and eligibility to practice law in the UK.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages at a business working level is highly desirable.
