Responsibilities
- Serve as a legal business partner to revenue teams by summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks in a business-relevant manner.
- Take ownership of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of legal agreements.
- Advise colleagues on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity.
- Understand the perspectives of customers and internal clients to solve problems effectively.
- Manage a heavy workflow by setting priorities and delivering results efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
- Work within Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and associated procedures.
- Ensure agreements comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of in-house legal experience; technology company experience preferred. Candidates with law firm experience combined with in-house experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy and experience handling data privacy issues, particularly in negotiating Data Processing Agreements.
- Admission to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
- Demonstrated success as a practicing attorney.
- Business-friendly approach with an understanding that the legal team supports business growth and success.
- Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts, including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advocate positions collaboratively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team.
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $207,000 to $285,000 USD, determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
