Overview

This role is a contract engagement for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to support commercial real estate transactions for corporate clients across a variety of industries. Work is performed remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
  • Prepare and review closing documents
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases
  • Draft, review, and negotiate homeowner and condominium association documents
  • Review due diligence materials and related documentation
  • Support all aspects of commercial real estate transactions as needed for the assignment

Requirements

  • 4+ years of commercial real estate experience
  • Prior experience working in the real estate practice group of a large law firm or a sophisticated real estate boutique is preferred
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
  • Outstanding references required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
  • Contract pay is based on multiple factors, including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate).

  • Contract professionals are usually W2 employees and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week.
