Overview
A legal services organization is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney based in Los Angeles with strong energy sector experience. This role involves working with major corporate clients across various industries to address complex legal challenges on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Advise corporate clients directly on commercial real estate matters
- Draft and negotiate real estate finance documents
- Support internal client teams
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of significant transactional experience, preferably in an in-house legal environment
- Expertise in complex commercial real estate including real estate finance, leasing, acquisitions, and sales
- Experience with leasing, purchases and sales, REITs, residential real estate, property management, and landlord/tenant disputes
- Industry experience in retail, restaurant/hospitality, industrial, and energy sectors preferred
- Experience with retail real estate and commercial real estate is preferred
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally on complex projects
- Junior to mid-level lawyers with energy sector exposure are encouraged to apply
- Experience with construction agreements is a plus
- Active bar license in good standing in the state of residence
