A boutique commercial real estate law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney with over 4 years of experience to join their growing team. This role involves managing sophisticated lender-side transactions independently from inception to closing, supporting a robust pipeline of private lender and developer clients.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage complex commercial real estate lending transactions from start to finish
- Draft and negotiate a variety of loan documents, typically for deals exceeding $100 million, including construction and mezzanine loans
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing creative legal solutions for sophisticated private lenders
- Collaborate with partners and a skilled paralegal team in a fast-paced, supportive environment
- Handle lender-side deals across the United States, primarily involving industrial complexes and data centers
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial real estate lending
- Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive in
- Ability to independently run complex deals and interact directly with clients
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills for high-value loan documents
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with construction loans, mezzanine loans, and creative lending structures
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000 to $500,000, based on ability rather than years of experience
