Overview
An established pharmaceutical/biotech organization is seeking an experienced Compliance Attorney to provide flexible, part-time legal support due to recent team changes. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful, high-impact work supporting a product in a highly competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a legal and compliance reviewer for promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and other cross-functional teams.
- Apply expertise in pharmaceutical/biotech promotional review and FDA promotional regulations.
- Provide healthcare compliance counseling.
- Review and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Support additional compliance projects as they arise.
- Exercise sound judgment, including pushing back when necessary, to help business partners find practical and compliant solutions.
Requirements
- Direct experience with pharmaceutical/biotech promotional review and Promotional Review Committee (PRC) processes.
- Strong knowledge of recent FDA promotional regulations and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Comfort with exercising independent judgment and providing constructive feedback.
- Experience with Veeva Promo Materials is highly desirable.
- Availability for a standing one-hour meeting every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $110 and $130, commensurate with qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, and project requirements.
- Fully remote and flexible work schedule.
Location
- This is a fully remote position.
- Candidates must be available for weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
Additional Information
- The assignment starts as soon as possible and will continue until permanent support is identified.
