Overview
This role focuses on ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and procedures. As a core member of the Compliance team, you will oversee the US Transparency reporting processes, provide compliance guidance, deliver training to employees and distributors/agents, review contracts, and perform both live and transactional monitoring. You will also partner with other departments to assess and improve internal controls and business processes to support compliant achievement of organizational goals.
This position contributes to departmental strategy and helps optimize tactics for continuously evolving and improving the Corporate Compliance program. The role is remote and reports to the Vice President of Healthcare Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert on compliance and US Transparency reporting, overseeing Sunshine and state reporting processes
- Develop and deliver training to ensure understanding of employee responsibilities, ethics, and compliance issues related to organizational policies and procedures
- Assist in developing the annual compliance work plan, including an annual regulatory risk assessment
- Coordinate internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of departments
- Provide support to the VP of Healthcare Compliance on corporate-level initiatives, as needed
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate with active law license required
- 1+ year of experience in Healthcare Compliance required
- Experience with US Transparency reporting strongly preferred
- Ability to partner cross-functionally, counsel effectively, and inspire support for legal/compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical thinker capable of autonomous decision-making in high-risk, high-complexity matters (with senior-level consultation, as appropriate)
- Knowledge and understanding of compliance risk management practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, monitoring/surveillance, and testing activities
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, conflicting priorities while handling a substantial workload

Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated annualized base salary: $110,000 - $145,000
- Additional compensation eligibility: $105,000 at target under a sales incentive compensation plan
