Overview
A leading legal talent platform is seeking a Senior Construction Lawyer to support various clients across Australia. This role involves advising on construction and infrastructure matters, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and providing legal support on capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Advise on construction and infrastructure legal matters.
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Support in-house counsel with development and acquisition agreements for large, multi-regional developers.
- Provide legal advice on capital projects, including procurement/tender processes, risk management, and liabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in-house within the construction and infrastructure industry.
- Demonstrable experience advising clients across the lifecycle of major building or infrastructure projects, from procurement and design & construct (D&C) to operations.
- Strong client service orientation with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice law in Australia.
