Overview
An established law firm is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its Construction Business Unit in Southern California. The position offers flexible location options, but candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and reside locally.
Responsibilities
- Manage trial preparation and courtroom responsibilities
- Handle file management and motion practice
- Conduct depositions
- Engage in advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Demonstrate willingness to learn new areas of law
Requirements
- 3-5 years of litigation experience
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Local to California
- Strong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction litigation is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $160,000 - $175,000 annually (full-time basis)
