Overview
A prestigious global law firm is seeking a Contract Business Immigration Attorney to join their high-volume, fast-paced practice. This full-time contract role (~40 hours per week) focuses primarily on business immigration H-1B matters and responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) across multiple visa categories, including H-1Bs. The position is remote and supports clients in California (PST hours) from anywhere within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume caseload of H-1B visa applications
- Prepare and respond to H-1B Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and RFEs for other visa categories
- Draft and prepare immigration cases
- Communicate and collaborate with team members on a daily basis
- Support the team remotely while maintaining effective case management
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree
- Admission to a U.S. State Bar
- Experience handling broad-based business immigration matters, including high-volume H-1B cases
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and capability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent case management skills
