Overview

This role involves advising on contract engagements for healthcare analytics and data solutions. The position supports revenue goals by driving contracting activities and helping translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable strategies through effective contracting.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand product offerings, business model, strategy, and internal processes to build expertise that supports revenue goals through contracting.
  • Initiate, review, redline, and efficiently negotiate a range of transactional contracts, including data agreements, SaaS agreements, master agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), trial agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements, independent contractor agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • Support standard and complex contract management activities.
  • Contribute to competitive bid efforts by evaluating RFIs and RFPs, identifying issues, and providing subject matter expertise for bid responses.
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions, evaluate prior terms, determine the need for amendments or renewals, and negotiate revisions within guidelines using contract playbooks.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and collaborate with internal subject matter experts across legal, sales, compliance, finance/accounting, information security, and other functional areas to advise on contract terms and risks.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties such as customers and suppliers.
  • Assist with managing playbooks, templates, processes, and clause libraries to optimize enterprise contracting.
  • Work with contract management systems and identify, implement, and support improvements and new technologies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and consulting on contracts.
  • Experience working with data privacy issues and agreements.
  • Experience in healthcare technology, technology software & services, or healthcare.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, including demonstrated ability to close complex transactions.
  • Practical, business-driven problem-solving skills and proven ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to customer service for internal and external clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with CRM and CLM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Salesforce, Docusign or similar tools.
  • Experience providing training or education to internal clients.
  • Experience driving organizational change and improvements.
  • Experience with government contracts and procurement processes.

Compensation

  • Salary range (Min–Max): $125,313.10 - $187,969.64 (USD)
