Contract Negotiations Attorney

Overview

A U.S. national bank is seeking a lawyer with over 5 years of experience in contract management and negotiations for a 6 to 12 month part-time engagement. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas or New York and will work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract negotiations for the bank's cash management business.
• Interface daily with sales leads.
• Escalate potential legal or compliance issues to the appropriate teams.
• Review additional vendor agreements as capacity allows.
• Assist with legal considerations for new products as capacity allows.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas or New York.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in contract management and negotiations.
• Ability to work part-time, 20-30 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
• Must be able to work remotely.
• Employment will be through an Employer of Record (W-2) for the duration of the engagement.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly rate: $100 - $130 per hour.
• Part-time schedule.
• Engagement duration: 6 to 12 months.
