Overview
This role involves supporting the Corporate Legal Department by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial agreements. The Contracts Counsel will help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while working closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance on routine contractual matters. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Support contract intake, review, execution, and tracking processes
- Identify contractual risks and recommend practical solutions
- Conduct legal research and assist with compliance initiatives
- Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks
- Support dispute resolution, governance matters, and diligence activities
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of experience with commercial contracts, healthcare, technology, or corporate law
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Remote position with quarterly onsite Legal Department meetings
- Travel generally less than 5%
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $138,915 – $180,428.85
- Salary ranges are market-based and may vary depending on location, experience, qualifications, and other factors
- Level placement (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) may be adjusted based on interview assessment and impact salary range
