Overview
This role supports the implementation and management of contract and corporate entity processes within a healthcare organization focused on providing comprehensive care for older adults. The position is remote within the US.
Responsibilities
- Implement and refine workflows for a Contract Management System to streamline contracting processes from intake through execution and inventory.
- Manage contract review and performance, including processing standard agreements such as NDAs, consulting agreements, and BAAs, and tracking post-execution obligations like reporting and renewals.
- Oversee corporate entity management, including maintaining formation documents, state licenses, qualifications, and filing periodic reports with Secretary of State offices or equivalents.
- Support Board operations by managing communications, transmitting materials, securing signatures for resolutions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide general paralegal support such as tracking and renewing facility licenses and permits and ensuring exclusion screening for vendors and contractors.
- Assist with project management and administrative support for ongoing initiatives, including state expansion projects.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across departments, particularly with compliance and finance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three to five years of experience as a paralegal or contracts manager.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal contract management software.
- Strong communication skills, both internal and external, including with legal teams, external counsel, and third parties.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility across the organization.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Creative and curious mindset comfortable with developing new processes.
Essential Functions & Physical Requirements
- Work primarily in administrative or remote environments.
- Communicate effectively with team members, government representatives, and other stakeholders via in-person, phone, and electronic means.
- Ability to remain stationary or move about for extended periods as required.
- Operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $67,000 to $90,000.
- Eligibility for target annual bonus and additional incentive compensation as applicable.
