Position: Contracts Manager – Advanced Structures (Remote)

This position involves supporting Advanced Structures Power Transmission Systems. The successful candidate will manage contracting activities for U.S. Government and commercial customers, including negotiation and contract administration, while working within integrated project teams and following corporate governance, policies, and procedures in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and represent the organization on contractual matters.
  • Ensure contractual activities are handled in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Review U.S. Government and commercial customer requests for proposals (RFPs), identify proposal requirements, review terms and conditions, assist with proposal development, and participate in securing required management approval to submit proposals.
  • Negotiate and execute complex customer contracts.
  • Identify risk elements in business transactions and contracts and offer mitigation alternatives.
  • Support program management teams and become well versed in technical aspects of products and services.
  • Provide strategic analysis, recommendations, and advice related to contractual matters.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and provide contracting advice on topics including intellectual property, indemnity, and liability.
  • Prepare documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and organized historical contractual records aligned with department standards.
  • Manage a high volume of projects of various complexity at one time.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • U.S. Government contract experience.
  • Experience working with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, etc.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD

The salary range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered when extending an offer include the role, function and responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Incentive compensation:

  • Applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments are not guaranteed and depend on factors including individual performance, business unit performance, and/or company performance.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • This is a U.S.-based role.
  • Remote employees work primarily offsite (from home), with possible travel to site location as needed.
  • If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
