Overview
This position is a Corporate Counsel role supporting multiple business units within the organization’s Technology, Shopping and Entertainment division. The role reports to the legal department and sits in NYC and CA. Work is structured to be remote, with flexibility to work out of a company office if desired.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Negotiate and/or draft a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor and revenue-generating agreements.
- Prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and guidance relevant to the organization’s businesses, services, and technology.
- Build relationships with sales and legal colleagues and key stakeholders to provide practical legal and strategic advice aligned with business objectives.
- Advise on recommended courses of action and legal risks, including the ability to determine when issues should be escalated.
- Drive and contribute to legal projects as needed.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organization skills, along with drafting and negotiation skills.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- State bar membership in good standing.
- 2–4 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm and/or comparable in-house legal department.
- Cover letter required outlining interest in the role.

Base salary range note (NYC): When performed in the City of New York, the base salary range for this role is $125,000–$135,000. Compensation for this business unit specific role is based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, as well as business & company performance.
