Overview
A leading advisory, tax, and assurance firm is seeking a legal professional to join their team. The firm operates across major U.S. regions and global financial centers, providing professional services through an alternative practice structure in compliance with professional standards and regulations. The organization offers attest services through a licensed independent CPA firm and tax and business advisory services through subsidiary entities.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review commercial transactions, contracts, and agreements.
- Provide counsel on contract interpretation and manage contractual dispute resolution.
- Handle contractual matters throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from formation to termination, across diverse agreement types.
- Manage multiple contracts and projects within a deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate with legal and risk management departments and business leadership on projects related to process improvements, risk mitigation, and legal policy development.
- Work with external vendors and legal counsel as necessary.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm (preferably an Am Law 100 firm) or as an in-house corporate attorney.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with information privacy laws, HIPAA, PHI, BAA, and related agreements preferred.
- Knowledge of employment law is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $132,020 to $200,240, influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
